Well, on the Black Market you can buy this small jet called the Pell Silverbolt 6 for I believe $30,000. It's a speedy little thing. It'll only get faster with upgrades, as this is at its default level 1 (can go up to 5).

It's one of the first vehicles you can unlock, and the first plane for that matter.

Just Cause 2 has a ridiculously high ceiling, and I'm not even sure I got to the top, but probably close. It takes me forever to fall all the way down, and you can see at the end that you can, in fact, die landing on the water, even though I opened the chute when I got close, to slow down a bit, and released it while still at a good height. Be careful then XD

Fraps actually performed quite well here, floating over 20FPS the entire time. I heard there was a way to improve performance on this game by triple buffering the video, but I've not tried to do that. It's something for me to consider, since while most of the time in runs well, it does slowdown from time to time.

For those interested in the game, it's available on the 360, PS3, and PC. For PC users though, keep in mind that it is a Direct X 10 minimum requirement. So XP users are out of luck.
