The campaign was successful, the fan demanded Zack Snyder cut of Justice League will finally see the light of day in 2021 on HBO’s HBO Max streaming service. After tragedy pulled the visionary if controversial director away from Justice League before it could be finished fans have wondered what the original vision for the movie had been. The premiere superhero team, Justice League is made up of the icons of DC Comics. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg had finally come together on the big screen. Snyder had not only set a distinct tone and aesthetic for DC’s answer to the MCU, the DCEU, he had also been laying the groundwork for the epic heights the story was headed. Unfortunately, while Joss Whedon was on hand to finish Justice League after Snyder had to step aside, that meant that a lot of what Snyder had set up was left to the wayside. After a lukewarm critical and theatrical reception, fans have come to believe the Snyder cut can set things right. With the coming HBO Max release another $30 million in post production and additional dialog, we might not only get a glimpse of what was originally intended, but something even more epic. Since the announced release we’ve found out some clues about what was missing and what could be added and there’s even more reason to be hyped. Let’s look at what we might see and why we should be excited.
