In the end the devs didn't go the early access route but they did hold a few betaplaytests to gather feedback.
Main features are:
1.Citybuilding part only handles the main town
2.Worldmap regions that you will need to conquer grandstrategy style without real time fights,they will use an somewhat complex autoresolve.
3.Worldmap regions will be able to be upgraded similar to grand strategy games/total war games, the depth of the upgrades will remain to be seen.
4.There will be no real time fighting on the main city map, those are cutscenes, don't think that will change.
5.A lot of production chains
6.the original demo will get updates sometimes after full launch.
7.The game will keep getting support after launch as needed,
they actually did that also for Patron which I haven't played but I checked the update history.
Full release date has been delayed for 21 March 2025,
