40In This Video We Are Looking At Kali Linux, a Debian Testing-based distribution that comes with a wide collection of security tools for forensic analysis and penetration testing, formerly known as BackTrack Linux (based on Ubuntu) , has announced its 2024.3 release. As the summer comes to an end, it is stated that the package transitions have also ended, thus Kali 2024.3 has been reached. It is stated that the Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM845 SoC is now supported, and there are many updates and optimizations behind the scenes since the last release. The version, which is built on the 6.8 Linux kernel, includes up-to-date packages such as GCC 14, glibc 2.40, and Python 3.12. It is announced that it now has 11 new tools, and it is stated that there are some scattered transitions with multiple stacks, all of which are related to each other, and it is stated that after the T64 transition is completed, it is stated that many other transitions are directly moved on. It is stated that the new Python version 3.12 breaks quite a few packages by removing some long-deprecated APIs, so they are busy fixing everything, and it is said that Python 3.12 will be the default in the next version of Kali, 2024.4. By the way, it is stated that the default Python interpreter is still Python 3.11 in this new version 2024.3.
