Kane And Lynch Dead Men is a third person shooter where the player controls Kane, an ex mercenary who is broken out of jail by a mysterious group known as the 7. Kane is told he must retrieve the property the 7 believe he has stolen from them in return for the release of his wife and daughter who the 7 have held hostage. Gameplay is in third person view and the player can carry two weapons at a time, and is accompanied by Lynch, who is a watchdog left by the 7 to make sure Kane does as he is told. The player can issue commands to Lynch such as navigation commands or combat commands. The player must also revive lynch if he takes too much damage, equally Lynch can revive the player if they take too much damage.
