Fans on the Tiësto forum assumed it was the “new Tiësto” track, especially after Tijs announced in an interview that he would debut a fresh tune on stage. Despite being asked multiple times, Tiësto couldn’t recall the track’s name. Rumor had it that it was Ronald van Gelderen’s work. Ronald confirmed it back then, calling it a ‘test’ track. Only a few DJs received blank CDRs during those days, which explains why Tiësto couldn’t remember it. Fast forward 20 years, and the track never officially saw the light of day—until I stumbled upon it on an obscure compilation titled “Trance Tribe 1.0” by Kansai.
