Kapenguria Museum in county 047 is famous because it was the site that held Kenya's first president, Jomo Kenyatta, during the fight for independence. He, along with 5 others were jailed here for some time in small cells. In the aftermath to keep the struggles for independence alive, the premise was turned to a museum rich with Kenya's history dating pre-independence.
Additionally, the rest of the museum features local cultures that have lived through the years.
This is just a short video, more like a montage, but the place is quite rich with information, worth paying a visit when you can.
