An another one of my arcade game playthroughs I had to redo, especially after I noticed the first one was not rendered properly.

This time I am once again playing Karate Blazers, which was produced by Video System Co. in 1991.

It's about four martial artists, who have to rescue a woman, who was kidnapped by a gang boss, who is a martial artist too. Not only does he appear in the first stage, but also he appears in a final one, but more powerful.

The heroes are Mark, Glen, Akira and Gil. Each of them differs from each other with the special moves and super moves.

There are several special moves such as sweep, jump kicks, slide kicks, super moves, etc. There are also the spell rolls, that make their super moves more powerful and hit all of the enemies on the screen.

The graphics are pretty nice for a 1991 game. Music sounds like some cartoons from the early 90s.

Instead of the difficulty levels you can choose the number of enemies and the strength of their damage. This time I picked the normal difficulty in the enemies number, because in the old playthrough it was just too difficult for me.

Summing up, this beat'em up game seems to be interresting despite of being underrated.
