The Vikings selected former Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson in the 1st round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday.

The former Buckeye OL started 40 games over the course of his career in Columbus, earning First Team All-American honors this past season, helping lead the Buckeyes to the National Championship.



Jackson spent his first two seasons as a starter at guard, before moving to left tackle earlier this season due to an injury. He’ll likely start out his Vikings tenure at guard, joining new free agent signings Ryan Kelly and Will Fries on the interior of the Vikings offensive line.
