I don't really have experience singing, mastering tracks, or writing lyrics, but when Kass's Final Song played and there were only subtitles it kind of felt like a dare.

At first I thought I could just match the lyrics to the music, but they really don't seem to line up at all, so I tried rewriting things until they more or less fit. This whole thing was a lot of fun to make. I won't make any claims otherwise to its quality.

An ancient hero, Calamity appears,
now resurrected after 10,000 years.

Then her appointed knight commits a sacrifice,
shields his princess, and must pay the price.

This awakens the princess's power,
within the keep the Calamity cowers.

But the knight lives!
Enshrined, in his sleep he heals,
forging his will into steel.

Legendary challenges await,
to regain his strength, he must fulfill his fate.

To become a hero once again!
and free Zelda from evil's den.
