Princes William and Harry walked behind the Queen's coffin in a doleful scene reminiscent of when, as boys 25 years ago, they followed the casket of their mother Princess Diana as it was taken on a similar procession through central London. Hence, the Princess of Wales can’t stand but be devastated over husband’s confession, given she knew all too well what he was going through, it was like a haunting echo of Princess Diana's funeral. On that somber day, William and Harry — then ages 15 and 12, respectively — followed a route that began at Kensington Palace, Princess Diana's London home, to Westminster Abbey. And today, while viewing tributes to his grandmother in Sandringham, Wills, 40, said taking part in the late monarch's cortege brought the pain flooding back.
