So we find out Taro has been transformed into an ugly beast and Kena will have to slay him to set his soul free.

We learn that Corrupt Taro keeps a lantern around his neck that Kena can fire at; once Kena does this it will explode and give us a bit of time so we can get in some more attacks.

We learn that Corrupt Taro has 2 phases. During the first phase Corrupt Taro will swipe at Kena with his sword. 2 of these can be blocked with Kena's Shield and allow us to stun Taro; when Taro moves to get his sword directly into the ground, Kena will need to dodge out of the way. Taro also has a tail whip attack that is used after a bit.

Kena should use her Rot to Bind Taro whenever possible.

We get two healing flowers.

Once Taro's HP gets below 50 percent, Corrupt Taro will discard his sword and then go into insane mode. Taro will run away from Kena a lot in this segment, and then suddenly charge at us. If Taro grabs us he'll smash us against his mask for much damage.
