Kerbal Gets Real | Episode 28 | 1968 Part 1 - Some Assembly Required | KSP RSS/RO/RP1
340CONGLOMERATE is going down, but some more assembly may be required to get the first ever lunar surface base up and running. CSA will also be extending the ECMS further, and CO-ED and EO-ED make their arrivals at Jupiter.
Big thanks to user Stonks on Discord for coming up with the contractor idea, so here's what I imagine happening in a little bit more detail.
I'll send out a proposal on discord for a specific mission, you'll come up with a design for the mission build it and send over screenshots / descriptions / craft files on the discord server (There'll be a channel dedicated for this). These will then go to a public vote on the server, and the design with the most votes will win and be used within the Kerbal Gets Real series.
Like I said in the episode I thought it was a great way for all you to get involved with the series, and I'm very much looking forward to what people come up with!
In order to help out as much as possible I'll be sharing my save file on the server so people know what kind of technology they'll be working with, unfortunately due to service agreements I'm unable to share my Gamedata folder, so you'll have to try and use mods that I own! (As always full modlist will be below)
The proposal for the first mission - A supply mission to the ECMS, capable of sending over a full years worth of supplies (Nitrogen, Oxygen, Water and Food) for three astronauts. Ideally for under 100,000 funds. (This may or may not be possible, If it's not, as close as you can to 100,000).
