Testing a new ship and abort system, first in zero gravity, then a couple of difficult times during ascent.
Separation is up to 9.2G and driven by 5 overclocked Flea SRBs. The abort system pushes the entire lander clear, which can carry up to 36 Kerbals interplanetary. Thud engines that would normally be used for landing are used to push the vehicle sideways to dodge the booster.
0:00 Zero G abort
0:15 Abort at 1st stage burn out
