00:00 Jimmy and QP good to go?
00:05 STEVE KERR, PREGAME: Should be good, yeah.
00:06 And then any sense where Jonathan's at in his recovery?
00:09 Not really. Just, again, as soon as he's ready, Rick (Celebrini) will tell me and I'll tell you and he'll play.
00:19 This has clearly been kind of a tough injury. What nature of it, besides it being long-term, makes it difficult?
00:30 It's just an injury. I mean, there's different injuries. This is a badly sprained ankle, so he's working hard to get back and until he's back, we don't — we're not gonna worry about it. It's — he's putting in all the work and training staff's doing their jobs. So everybody deals with injuries. We just gotta keep going.
00:54 Coach, you got to work with Brandon Miller with the Team USA Select Team a little bit. Obviously, he's out now. What was your kind of thoughts on working with him? What do you think of his game?
01:05 Really talented player. Great young guy. You can see his passion for the game. You can see how excited he was to be there competing against all those guys. Wants to be great and I thought the USA basketball experience was really good for him and for that whole group of Select Team players. It's always a wonderful experience for all of them. But I'm a big fan of Brandon's. He's a really good player.
01:30 Hey Coach, Shane Connuck from the Charlotte Observer here.
01:33 Hi.
01:34 What sums it up about the job that Charles Lee has done with this Hornets team? He's a first-year coach with new players and a young team (inaudible) group in Charlotte?
01:41 Charles is a really good coach. You can see it watching their games, they're always competing and he does a really good job. When I watch their games, I see him run stuff that's really, really interesting and creative and I know Charles a little bit. We were on a Basketball Without Borders trip to Egypt a couple summers ago and just an awesome guy. I'm really happy for him that he has this job and, obviously tough, tough go this year with the injuries, but he's a hell of a coach. He's in it for the long haul for sure.
02:21 LaMelo Ball was unavailable last week when you guys played. Can you talk about what it is like game-planning for this team with him versus without him.
02:30 It changes everything, just his ability to manipulate the pick-and-roll and shoot off the dribble, fadeaway threes. You don't expect them coming and he's capable of getting really hot and then that opens up the whole floor for everybody else. Always loved his ability to throw the ball ahead. That's what jumps off the page when you're watching him. It's just, he gets it. He immediately looks ahead and that's the toughest thing for a defense to have to do, is guard in transition. So he understands the game at a really deep level and fun player to watch.
03:07 You're nearing the end of this, like, 12 of 14 on the road, does it feel like 12 in 14?
03:17 It does. It does. Yeah, that's been quite a stretch and so the good news is, we've come through it to this point pretty well. We need to finish up the trip well and so tonight's a big game, especially coming off that loss in Philadelphia.
03:33 I mean, I know you'll probably just wait on statuses tomorrow to see how the guys do.
03:38 Yeah.
03:39 What's your, this late in the year considering the standings, I mean, what's your confidence just body-wise, some of your veterans are, ready for kind of this intense finish including back-to-backs?
03:50 Well, Steph's in a great place right now. His knees are doing much better than they were a…
