Kershaw Seguin Knife Review
Judged straight from the factory/vendor, no pre-disassembly.

Fit and Finish:
Weight: 4.9 ounces
Blade Centered: Centering is perfect
Blade Style/Grind: Drop Point/Flat Grind
Jimping: Blade decorative, Flipper
Spring Assisted
Lockup: 60%
Branding: Both sides. The usual, boring.
Hardware: All screws countersunk, really cool looking pivot design.
Clip: Clip is very nice, deep carry compliments the handle.
No lanyard option.
Backspacer is nice looking.

Handle Materials:
Gray Stainless Steel
Both sides feature a cool grind design
Gray scales mark very easily, wear shows even after a week of use.
Easy four finger grip for me
Frame lock may need adjustment, spacing very large

Steel:
8Cr13MoV
PVD coated blade, is too thick
Sharp from the factory, may need to be resharpend quickly.
Very stabby blade design, good looking but coating hurts it.

Ergo’s:
Grip is comfortable, do feel clip though
I don’t know why because I didn’t take apart but the non locking side has a very thin extra piece of steel. Spacing issue fix? I don’t know.
All edges round over, only hotspot is the clip

Fidgetability:
Action is good, but nothing out of ordinary for speed assist
Assisted so not really a fidgetable design

Design:
I love the way the knife looks. If it had better materials it would be fantastic. With the thick PVD coating on the blade and speed assist it hurts the knife. It's a very heavy knife, seems unnecessarily heavy.

Overall I can’t recommend this knife, even for a budget knife. I paid about $37.
