Keychron Q6 :: Original Keycaps vs Cerakey FULL SET V2 Black with Legends [Audio Comparison]
12This Keychron Q6 keyboard is using Gateron Brown switches.
I've just switched the keycaps on my Keychron Q6 from the original keycaps to the Cerakey V2 Black with Legends keycaps, and recorded the audio difference.
I love the more rounded feel and weight of the Cerakey keycaps, the spacebar makes a really nice donk sound. The space bar is quite heavy and takes very little pressure to press down and register on the brown switch, but still retains the tactile feel. The set comes with 2 yellow MX switches, but I haven't used them. I guess they could be installed for the spacebar if your current switches are too soft for the ceramic spacebar's weight.
All keys installed very easy except one that was very tight on the switch mount , but it wiggled on fine after a bit of pressure was applied.
Apologies for the dirty keyboard, I was too excited to test and didn't bother cleaning it.
