15 minutes is the time we spend on average every day waiting for public transport and a fraction of our journey time. 'The #15minutes #city' is the concept created by Carlos Moreno to enable #cities inhabitants to reorganise their time, improve their quality of life and the #environment. In this new kind of city, urban functions (schools, work, food shops, restaurants and entertainment venues) must be within 15 minutes walking or cycling distance from the inhabitants' homes. These 'polycentric' cities put #human back at the heart of the city.
