Because ALL the kids in 1983 were *crying out* for a game based on their favourite characters from 1915, weren't they?
I must've missed the massive resurgence in popularity that the Keystone Cops had around that time...
I suspect I'm remembering Garry Kitchen's name from the work he did on the C64 version of Ghostbusters -
