Shantae, the half-genie hero of Scuttle Town and protector of it's residents, has been granted one final wish for a new adventure on behalf of Kickstarter backers across the globe. Born in 2002 by Wayforward on the Game Boy Color, Shantae is an action platformer with a special gimmick of transformation dances. These dances allow Shantae to become one of several different animals and creatures to aid in finding hidden areas and previously unreachable platforms. The Shantae series has gained a cult-following, and quickly became a highly sought-after collector's item through the years.
