This is video #013 in my Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days playthrough. On Day 22, Roxas and Axel set out on Mission 11, which is to defeat the Guardian in Twilight Town. They start out in the Station Plaza and have to travel through the Underground Passage to the Side Street. To get through the Underground Passage, Roxas must trip the switch on the north side of the southern room and then trip another switch on the room's western wall. The quarry is in the Sandlot in the southern end of town.

There are some Watchers and Yellow Operas along the way. The duo will also encounter a new enemy, the Minute Bomb. The main issue with the Minute Bomb is--you guessed it--it likes to light its fuse and explode. When they light their fuse, clear the area. If you're lucky, it will damage or destroy its neighboring foes. The Minute Bomb will explode immediately if it is hit with another bomb's explosion or a Fire spell.

You must collect the treasures before taking out the Guardian, as the mission will end automatically with the Guardian's death. Two chests, each containing a Potion, are in the Station Plaza. In the Underground Passage, there are three chests. A chest with a Potion is on the east side. In the south room where Roxas started out on his first mission, a chest contains the Loaded Gear weapon panel. In the southeast corner, a chest contains a Blazing Shard.

When Roxas and Axel enter the Sandlot, they will encounter the Guardian, which will be accompanied by four Watchers. The Guardian is essentially a huge Watcher. My strategy is to kill the Watchers first with Fire spells and then focus on the Guardian. The Guardian has a big attack: a massive laser beam that wipes out anything in its path. Fortunately, it is easy to see and avoid this attack. While it is recovering, Roxas can attack.

After the mission, Roxas and Axel talk at the top of the clock tower. So, Axel's heading off to Castle Oblivion, huh?

One of the rewards for this mission is the Doublecast panel. Very useful. When you link a magic panel to it, you get two casts of that panel instead of one. Better yet, you can link up to three magic panels with it.

The next morning, we see a moment of intrigue between Axel and Saïx. Hm, very interesting.

The next morning, the Grey Area looks pretty deserted. You can talk to Demyx to get a Blazing Shard for free. As you can see, that Loaded Gear gives a nice boost to magic power.
