This is video #085 in my Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days playthrough. On Day 152, Roxas departs on Mission 45 to collect hearts in Halloween Town again. Gotta love this place! In the Halloween Town Entrance, the chest near the beam-in point contains a Phantom Gear (4) weapon panel. On the way to the Town Square, Roxas notices the absence of Heartless and the presence of a strange balloon.

In the Halloween Town Square, Roxas spies on a conversation between Jack Skellington and Dr. Finkelstein. Apparently, Jack has some interesting ideas for making Halloween even more terrifying, and the strange balloons are part of it. However, it still is not as spooky as Jack wants it.

When Roxas has control again, he can examine the balloons in this area to make spiders pop out. Gross and cool at the same time. The chests in this area contain a Hi-Potion and a Gust Shard. But where are all the Heartless hiding? There are a couple of Mega-Shadows, but they don't count.

In the Graveyard, Roxas sees Jack with his ghostly dog, Zero. Apparently, someone has stuck some Heartless in some of the balloons. The scene provides a useful clue: if Roxas gives Zero a bone, the dog ghost will point to a spot where a Heartless or a group of Heartless is hiding. The Heartless are hiding in three spots in the Graveyard. Note that you may have to jump to get Roxas to examine a spot, such as Zero's grave in the southwest. There are also a couple of balloons here to reveal more Heartless. When all the Heartless in the Graveyard have been cleared away, Zero will lead Roxas back to the Town Square with another bone.

There is a chest containing another Gust Shard in the Graveyard. There is also a Unity Badge in this area, but it cannot be reached yet.

When Roxas leaves the Graveyard, the brats Lock, Shock, and Barrel will play another trick on him. Maybe Roxas should give them a spanking like Sora did. Anyway, back in the Halloween Town Square, there are three more spots that Zero will have Roxas check out. Mainly Snowy Crystals out here, so bring along some Fire magic. The last Heartless is hiding in the Halloween Town Entrance.

Be sure to examine all the balloons in this area, even those that do not spit out Heartless. There are two balloons in the Graveyard, two in the Town Square, and one in the Town Entrance. If you do this, Demyx will give Roxas a Frost Gem on Day 172.

On top of the clock tower, Roxas has ice cream with Axel. Axel warns Roxas not to press the wrong buttons with Xion. Poor Roxy seems clueless.

The rewards for this mission include a Gust Gem, which can be used to synthesize an Aerora panel.

On the morning of Day 153, Luxord will be back in the Grey Area. If Roxas scored at least 50 points in the Grandstanding minigame from Mission 37, Luxord will unlock Mission 49 in the Day 152~ sequence.
