This is video #082 in my Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days playthrough. On Day 151, Roxas departs to Twilight Town to defeat the Avalanche for Mission 44. When he arrives, he finds Xion on the clock tower. She explains why she was so upset yesterday. Sounds like this impostor is pretty tough. Anyway, the pair decides to double up for today. Sounds good to me.

Xion's part of the mission is to collect Organization Emblems. There are two Emblems in the Station Plaza, five in the Underground Passage, and three in the Tunnel. Be careful of the Gigas Shadows and Poison Plants that now appear in the Underground Passage and Tunnel. Also remember to kill them if you need to restore the rings around the Emblems. As you may expect, completing the optional objective requires collecting all the Organization Emblems with the rings intact. If you collected all the Organization Emblems correctly at this point, the Mission Gauge will be about half full.

The Gigas Shadows in this mission seem to drop Elixir Recipes quite frequently, so if you're farming for Elixir Recipes, this is a good mission.

A Thunder Recipe can be found in a chest at the southeast end of the Tunnel under the last Organization Emblem. The treasure chest nearby contains a Cymbal Monkey, which can be killed to restore the Emblem rings. A Hi-Potion can be found at the south end of the Side Street. The Unity Badge is Under the Tracks. The Ordeal Badge is in the northeast corner of the Station Plaza. Also, a Bulky Vendor can be found in the eastern section of the Station Plaza.

The Avalanche is found in the Sandlot. It's Roxas's part of the mission to defeat it. This wyvern is an upgraded Tailbunker and can be handled in the same way. The best thing is that its ice breath attack does not home very well, so they are fairly easy to avoid. The Avalanche is weak to fire-based attacks.

At the end of the mission, Roxas and Xion have ice cream at the usual place. However, Xion is troubled by her encounter with the impostor. In her flashback, we actually hear the impostor speak. Afterwards, Roxas and Xion talk, but it is clear that she is still upset. Soon after she leaves, Axel shows up.

Afterwards, Roxas seems to have another odd dream about that boy in red. In fact, it looks like it came from the opening of Chain of Memories.

The mission rewards include the High Jump panel, which is indispensable for getting those high, out-of-the-way objects.
