If I had to put a place for KH3D for my favorite KH game, it will be within the top three! Anyways, before you fight Shan-Yu, make sure you switched all of your party members' customization from Technic Attack to Party Attack! Shan-Yu will summon the first wave of Nightwalkers to attack the door as soon as the battle starts. You want to move either to the right for to the left instead of sitting there waiting for him or going towards him because if you do that, there is a chance that the Nightwalkers will attack you if you're in their way. When you guard his attacks, start pressing the triangle button a lot until Sora strikes Shan-Yu with the RC, Takedown. Always guard then combo him two times when he is about to normally strike. After two combos on Shan-Yu, he should try to counterattack you, but if your second finisher was a Blizzard for the 2nd combo, then he shouldn't hit you. Another thing about this battle is that you should keep your eyes on his bird, Hayabusa, at all times after doing two combos on Shan-Yu. If it emits a pink aura, jump out of the way and if he circles around you, it means he is about to swipe down at you and damage you. Keep repeating this until Shan-Yu enters into his final phase which you can tell when he enters it when you deal lower damage than usual during your combo. His second phase starts by Shan-Yu surrounds himself with a dark aura around him. During this phase you want to keep your certain distance away from Shan-Yu until he charges at you so you can block it and perform the Takedown RC. Keep repeating this in his final phase and you won. You can use a Ether to restore your MP if needed. For defeating Shan-Yu, you get more HP, the Aerial Sweep ability, and the Hidden Dragon keyblade.

Q: How do you stay Level 1?
A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.

Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.

Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.

Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.

Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.

Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a Lv. 1 playthrough.

Q:Are you playing on a emulator on a normal PS2?
A:I'm playing on a emulator with PCSX2 with a quality of 720p in, not stretched 16:9, but actual normal 16:9 thanks to a widescreen patch that I found, but you can also use Codebreaker or Emuhaste and enter the code for it which is right here:
