1Today I review the first Half of the first Novel of the Karkanas Trilogy by Steven Erickson. Prequel to Malazan book of the fallen long before the Malazan Empire even existed. If you like Toll the Hounds book 8 of the Fallen your going to absolutely Adore this book or at least the first half if toll was one of your lesser favorites.... You may be disappointed. Regardless it's still a cut above the rest and Steven remains a master at his craft
