~~~~~~~~~~ Anyway yeah. This fight is just Dodge Roll and Thunder Surge. Since Nomura got his head out of his ass and made the whip escapable, the only tricky part of the fight now is his clones. Sometimes you get them all with 1 Surge, sometimes you don't. This boss is really poorly designed, though. Then again, a lot of things in this game are...

Don't bother leveling up too much. No matter your level he takes you to 1 HP with every attack (an example of "poorly designed"). Being in the late 40s to early 50s is best since you're pretty close to his damage cap and so the fight doesn't take an eternity. Your worst enemy in this fight is your thumbs, if this goes on for too long you're probably going to need to take breaks.

Everyone bitches about FM making him "too easy." Uh, first off, in BBSNA he was way too luck based. If you enjoy getting caught by the stupid whip and watching as he destroys you because you can't escape the whip and it ALWAYS takes you down to 1HP, when you've spent the last 10 minutes fighting him, you go right ahead. But those of us that are sane, will just fight him in FM where we also have Aerial fucking Recovery (which should've been in the game in the first place). Second off, the whip is the only thing they changed. He's just as fast, just as strong, and just as random.
