Kia introduced its EV3 and EV4 concepts at the LA Auto Show, showcasing these models as the potential next additions to its electric vehicle lineup. The EV3, a small SUV, and the EV4, a sedan, are both "material-driven concepts," emphasizing the use of sustainable materials like bio-plastic, leather substitutes, recycled fabrics, and BTX-free paint.

The design of the EV3 draws inspiration from the larger EV9 three-row SUV. It features squared-off wheel arches and a boxy exterior. Inside, it offers a spartan and clean dashboard design, mood lighting, and natural fibers in the seats. The center armrest between the seats doubles as a multi-mode table made from natural materials, including mycelium.

In contrast, the EV4 takes a sportier approach with a low nose, long tail, and a small rear spoiler. Its wide and low stance contributes to its sporty appearance. Inside, the EV4 uses recycled cotton and features handwoven fabric stripes on the dashboard and cargo area, along with a slide-out touchscreen for the climate control system.

These vehicles are currently in the concept stage, with limited details on specifications and availability. However, following the pattern of the EV9, which was introduced as a concept at the LA Auto Show in 2021 and is now nearing its road debut, the EV3 and EV4 could potentially be expected in the 2026 model year.
