Kickstarter Spotlight-Threadbare RPG | Nerd Immersion
3On this week's Kickstarter Spotlight episode, I cover the Threadbare RPG. Threadbare is a fun and easy tabletop RPG where you play as broken stuffed animals, toys and perhaps even a missing sock in a post-apocalyptic world.
"Threadbare is a stitchpunk role playing game set in a broken world populated by broken toys.
Your character starts out as a Softie (soft-filled toy), a Mekka (hard-shelled, plastic or metal toy), or a Sock (a single sock, often thought to have been lost in the laundry).
The rules mechanics are based on the Apocalypse World engine: you roll 2d6’s and add your modifiers to determine the direction your story will go."
They've blown past their funding amount and have started unlocking various stretch goals. If they can hit $10,000 they'll add several new character options!
