Shaun Southern created some great games for the C64, and Kikstart II is one of the best. This 2D take on stunt bikes requires players to navigate a series of obstacle courses on motorcycle, which is easier said than done. You'll need to figure out optimal speeds to stay atop of the various objects without falling off, and timing jumps between platforms requires plenty of practice.
The game has 24 courses in total, and you can select 6 courses to play in each session. The big draw, however, is the fact the game includes an inbuilt course designer, allowing players to build their own courses! Considering the game launched on budget to begin with, this represented absolutely killer value for £1.99!
