Killing Floor 2 | Polar Distress #13 | 4 New Weapons Highlights (Beta Changes) on Survivalist
5Hello Good People, Welcome back to the Killing Floor 2 Polar Distress's daily update gameplay.
Today, I will checking out 4 New Weapons Beta changes after lot of feedbacks and surveys for final release, and yeah is here right now. But, very unfortunate and very dissapointed about changes, make me changes forever at this point, so let's find out:
1). HRG Ballistic Bouncer
- Reduced Damage (uncharged) from 114 to 29
- Reduced Damage (charged) from 600 to 200
Designer Note:
HRG Ballistic Bouncer's damage was too high, so we applied a major debuff. This change was also made due to fixing a Ballistic Bouncer’s bug which caused some of projectiles to not impact.
2). HRG Medic Missile
- Increased Explosion damage from 400 to 700
- Explosion Damage Falloff exponent from 2 to 1
- Reload speed faster, from 2.56 sec to 1.88 sec
- Added Scrake's vulnerability to 3x Ballistic rocket impact
- Decreased distance needed for the explosion of the projectile, from 4 m to 2 m
Designer Note:
Addressing the issue causing Medic Missile to be one of the least useful Medic weapons, we increased general damage as well as the reload speed. As well, the distance needed for the missile to explode was reduced in order to help players to get more successful shots.
3). HV Storm Cannon
- Decreased Stun Power from 50 to 25
- Decreased Stumble Power from 200 to 85
- Decreased Gun Hit Power from 150 to 0
- Decreased Melee Hit Power from 100 to 0
- Decreased EMP Power from 100 to 25
Designer Note:
HV Storm Cannon’s changes were applied in order to avoid canceling Matriarch’s plasma attack and canceling Scrake’s rage too easily.
4). Zed Eradication Device (ZED) MKIII
- Decreased Magazine ammo from 100 to 50
- Decreased Spare ammo (Max. Ammo) from 400 to 350
- Decreased Energy bullets Stun Power from 15 to 5
- Increased Magazine price from 60 to 75
Designer Note:
ZED MKIII was overpowered regarding community’s feedback, so we reduced the overall ammo for the weapon, as well as its stun power.
════════ MY OPINION ═════════
1). HRG Ballistic Bouncer (Score 90 to 65 / 100)
I thought this weapon is too overpowered for this. Need to nerf little bit. But, tripwire dev nerf too much and have bug. Bug what? yeah so useless at this point. About calculating total damage in the comment.
2). HRG Medic Missile (Score 50 to 60 / 100)
Little bit buff, okay. But FPS Drop with this weapon still here. bruh
3). HV Storm Cannon (Score 85 to 70 / 100)
Beta version is pretty good in the aspect. But now, no more power again. Make zeds not interrupted anymore, very unfortunate.
4). Zed Eradication Device (ZED) MKIII (Score 80 to 75 / 100)
before was no problem overall, only radar not showing up. And now yeah it's good. But, some nerf here. from feedback said it's too OP what!
