Hello again everyone, Welcome back to another edition of PlayStation GameZown Mini Reviews, where we take a look into PlayStation 3s Multiplatform, and Exclusive games. This time up for sneak peek is another BETA Multiplayer video for a game that I can hardly wait for that is coming February 2011 on the PlayStation 3. This BETA is available exclusively to PlayStation Plus users, and is quite honestly some of the most kick ass fun I have had online all year long! The game is violent, gruesome, fast paced, tactical, and simply awesome. Yeah, it's Killzone 3.

Due to this being a BETA in its pre-release form, you can expect the final product to be better. This is not a full review of the game.

This video shows you gameplay from the stage Frozen Dam. The first gameplay shown is complete footage taken of a Team Deathmatch mode named Guerrilla Warfare where your objective is simply to kill as many of the enemies as possible to help make your team the victors. The second gameplay footage is a quick glance at the Operations mode where your team vs their team and there are objectives for each team to accomplish.

In the first section of Operations, the ISA have to set charges on the doors to blast them open in order to proceed to the second area of the stage. In the second area the ISA have to hold down certain positions to over-ride the poisonous gas that the Helghast have released.And finally in the third area the ISA have to plant more bombs to blow the dam, and drown the Helghast. Of coarse the entire time the Helghast are heavily defending each area with their lives.

And before I forget, I might as well mention the controls for this Killzone as that is most of everyones concerns. Well, fear not fellow CoD and MoH players as Guerrilla Games has got you covered! The Guerrilla team has heard your bitching and moaning about the controls for the second Killzone game and have decided to water it down for you so that it feels just as generic as any other FPS now. So you can now pick up a heavy ass Rocket Launcher and still move around fast as if it were a small knife.

Yes the realistic controls of having a feeling of weight to each weapon are out the door in favor of fake feeling controls found in Wolfenstein and DOOM. Okay so it's not that bad, but for those of us that liked the new heavier feeling controls in Killzone 2 will be disappointed to find it now plays like a typical everyday FPS. It's just something that takes getting used to once your used to Killzone 2. Yes the controls feel that different. I came away from the game feeling slightly disheartened because of the change back to normal everyday average FPS controls. But that does not kill the gameplay, and once I got used to playing it again I had quite a rockin' time online.

Killzone 3 Multiplayer BETA is a blast to play, and is exclusive to the first 5,000 PS+ Members that downloaded the KZ3 theme!
