Hello and welcome to another PlayStation 3 exclusive sneak peek. This time I take a look at an arcade style shooter on the PSN, Gravity Crash.

In Gravity Crash your mission is to destroy all enemy units, keep your ship gassed up, collect power ups, and rescue the good guys! It sounds easy, but gravity keeps pulling your ship down, so the fight to stop from slamming into the walls is tough, and the action gets fierce! Are you prepared for the task at hand?

The graphics are pretty decent for a PSN downloadable title with different planets (sort of), and a cool graphic style reminiscent of the older vector style games. The graphics work well with this game, and are very colorful. I love the look of the game personally.

The music in Gravity Crash is relaxing and done extremely well IMO. I just love the music that accompany this game. As you can tell in the video, it is very catchy, and really fits the stages just right. The guys at Just Add Water Inc. KNOW how to make really great music!

The sound effects are done decently, with sounds of lasers, bombs, and many other little things that just add to the experience. It all comes across crisp and clear.

The controls are what you'd expect from a game of this style. You use the left analogue stick to decide which way to point, and the X button moves you forward. It is difficult to steer correctly because your ship is constantly fighting gravity, so you must be patient, or you will end up crashing more than often. Its simple and addictive though, once you get the hang of it.

The one thing that really rocks about this game, is the ability to create your own stages, and put them online for others to play. You can create seemingly unlimited types of stages, with all kinds of difficulty depending on how you set it up. It really is neat, and easy to do. Once you start making your own stages, you might have trouble putting the controller down.

Bottom Line: Gravity Crash is a game that will be most enjoyed by those fond of the old vector games, but I believe the game is so much fun that even newcomers will find something about it that they will like. From great colorful stages, a wonderful soundtrack and addictive gameplay, you will find yourself coming back to play it again and again. Add in the fact that the game is only $9.95 on the PlayStation Store and you've got yourself one awesome game!
