Ansem is vanquished,and Sora ends up closing Kingdom Hearts for good. However,Riku and King Mickey opted to stay behind,to hold back the Heartless that were appearing. If you got all 99 Dalmatians and sealed all keyholes in the game,you get a bonus scene after the credits and the final cutscene with Sora Donald and Goofy. This foreshadows what happens in Kingdom Hearts 2. This brings Kingdom Hearts to a close,so peace out.
