And it now comes to this. The endgame has arrived! We reach the conclusion and as you know, this Sora we see has had his memories wiped. But Mickey asks for Sora's aid in heading to a place where the truth may or may not be revealed.
This is Castle Oblivion. Compared to other worlds, this one is here where you must complete specific challenges in order to acquire a world card. The worlds are in order: Destiny Islands, Traverse Town, Wonderland, Olympus Coliseum, Agrabah and Hollow Bastion. Notice anything familiar? Yep. These are the very same worlds we visited in our journey.
In each journey, there are specific requirements in order to acquire World Cards. There are three kinds of endings you can get: Normal Cards are regular cards. Extra Cards can be obtained if you end up doing something different and Alternative Cards are the result of an alternate ending. Getting them all in each world will have Leon and Yuffie show up and give you a Debug Device Y and a Heat-Sink Belt. The Heat-Sink Belt helps so you don't suffer a Clock Drain.
After visitng each world, someone mysterious talks to you and asks if you enjoy going through memory lane. Sora goes and says that it is nice though he knows that they are just that: people he'll forget. But he has this desire to remember everyone he knows. Remember Castle Oblivion? To find is to lose & to lose is to find. But it won't stop Sora. No way. But he feels a hurting inside and the more he goes through Castle Oblivion, the deeper the hurt. At the end, he says that he'll carry the hurt no matter what. It's here where you face your final boss... Roxas, or rather a digital version of Roxas.
This Roxas wields Oathkeeper and Oblivion and is a very tough boss fight. You will need accessories that can resist Clock Drain, Defense Down and Slow Down. He uses his 2 keyblades to deal major damage so you will need to give it everything you got against him. You will need good skills, accessories, a strong Keyblade like Zero/One and a lot of luck. Defeating Roxas will net you the Oathkeeper keyblade and yeah, this keyblade is a VERY USEFUL blade.
After defeating him, we then meet a data version of Namine and it's here the truth about that message is revealed. “Their hurting will be mended when you return to end it.” It seems that the bugs were a side-effect of Namine messing with Sora's memories. Namine explains that there are other people who are suffering and they all share a strong connection to Sora... Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Roxas, Axel and Xion. All 6 are connected to Sora and she goes to say that it's up to him to free them from their individual fates.
With this in hand, Mickey ends up writing a letter to Sora, the same one that we see at the end of Kingdom Hearts II. It all sets things up for Dream Drop Distance and eventually Kingdom Hearts 3.
Re: Coded is done. My journey is finished but if I plan on getting the 20 trophies offscreen, I will show the secret ending. If not, you'll see it in the Re: Coded HD Full Movie.
