Time to end this game once and for all.

The final area of the game is a lovely looking place with newly skinned Devils & Termites plus some teleporters.

The easiest way to reach the final boss is, from the save room, to go north and follow it to a teleporter and go through it. In the next area, don't take the first path going south, just keep going straight until you reach another teleporter. Keep going forwards through warps until the music changes up on you, letting you know you're in the room of the final boss.

The final boss? None other than Guyra.

Guyra could be a challenge I guess, but with the best armor in the game and a max HP of 328, nothing he can do could put me into any kind of noticable danger HP wise. He can fire off a stream of blue fireballs, cast a Lightning Volt-esque spell, or take a bite at you at close range, but that's it.

The real annoyance in this fight are the floating balls. They will absorb any kind of magic you try to cast, but can be killed by physical strikes. They will also fire off a laser at you on occasion. Not that much damage, but when there's 4-5 of them that could do that, it'll add up.

There's two ways you could approach this battle. One is to hack & slash away at Guyra with the Dark Slayer. Potentially dangerous as Guyra's physical could knock you off the arena to your doom if you're positioned poorly.

Then there's the way I handle it and that's to get rid of the magic absorbing jerks, hence the reason I equipped the Fire Ball spell in the last video. Wind Cutter will also work just fine.

What you should do is the cast the spell towards one of them to lure it into range of your physical, then strike it. One hit from the Dark Slayer should be enough to kill a critter.

When they are all dead, Guyra's a sitting duck. Bust out your ultimate magic spell of choice (Flash or Seath are two good choices) while keeping Guyra locked down with the Bow or Arbalest w/ the Lightwave Ring. He'll go down and you'll get to view the ending.

One last little bit of interesting information, you can get onto Guyra's back and get behind him to claim the Moonlight Sword. Not a bad weapon, but the Dark Slayer is better. You do have to kill yourself to get back to the other side or try to defeat Guyra on that small platform, but I do believe having the Moonlight Sword will mean you get zapped to the golden fountain when you die.

Anyways, game is done.

Until the next game!
