Pretty sure we could all use a vacation right now, so this is about the next best thing I have to offer. UB40 and stock beach footage. Anyways: Pretty simple cover here, nothing too crazy going on, but this was an interesting one to adapt for fingerstyle, mainly because it's originally in a pretty uncommon key (G# major). I changed it to C. Good ol' reliable C. Much easier to play in 😘

I'd also like to add that while my outfit is meant to look like I'm a tourist, upon closer examination, I look like some kind of shady dealer of sorts. Whoops. Also, I'm slightly closer to the middle of the frame than I would've preferred, but I'll make a note of that for future vids. I'd like to get a 50/50 balance between myself and whatever is on the TV. Oh yeah, the TV... I plan on mounting that to the wall in place of the artwork and using it as a bonus monitor to go along with the new computer. Hopefully it all turns out ok and looks like a proper makeshift home studio setup, once everything is said and done. Next up I need some foam. And monitors... Maybe somebody knows where I can get some good ones for recreational use? I was looking at M Audio since I used to have them and they were pretty good according to memory.
