Welcome to Famicom Disk System Month! To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Famicom Disk System, I am doing reviews, walkthroughs, unboxings, and anything related to the Famicom Disk System (Only Monday's won't be devoted to Famicom Disk System games).
I am starting Famicom Disk System Month with an episode of Gameplay and Review of an FDS game that wasn't released on cartridge for the NES and was only released in Japan. All FDS games I am playing for Gameplay and Review are easy to play. I wanted all games I am reviewing for this month to be easy to play without an english translation, I found a total of 9 games.
The first episode of Gameplay and Review for Famicom Disk System Month I bought loose due to the game having a low rating on Gamefaqs. Kinnikuman: Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsusen was released in 1987 and was the follow-up to Kinnikuman: Muscle Tag Match, Kinnikuman: Muscle Tag Match was released in the US as M.U.S.C.L.E.
Kinnikuman: Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsusen was never released outside of Japan, as most Kinnikuman games were kept in Japan and never got US releases. The question is: Is the game as terrible as what Gamefaqs says? It's time to find out!
