Focusing on things such as your happiness can do many things which can improve not just your physical but also mental health. Focusing on bad things such as anger or hate can also harm you both mentally and physically. But what is happiness? And where do we find this happiness. I personally believe happiness comes from within as jesus said himself "The Kingdom of heaven is within you." Buddha has mention happiness coming from within.
