6After Ripple Star 1 was suspiciously innocent (and a callback to Pop Star 1)...
...Ripple Star 2 goes ahead and reminds you that Ribbon's home planet was the first to get consumed by Dark Matter, and as such, the planet that was suffering from it the most.
Throughout all of this level's foreboding music, the building Kirby and his gang are trying to reach, the Queen Fairy's palace, is blocked out by darkness.
Luckily, Waddle Dee found a way in, anyway. Kirby will venture through underground catacombs to reach his way in.
At one point, King Dedede will lend his hammer one more time to open a path for Kirby.
Then later after that, Adeleine will feed Kirby an Invincibility Candy to help with his last few paces into the palace.
Within that same Adeleine room, there are pillars marked with different colors. A Crystal Shard is behind the green pillar, meaning you'll need some kind of Cutter ability to break through it.
Long before that, however, in the room you dive into from Waddle Dee's help, there's a yellow block guarding a different Crystal Shard. You'll need some kind of Spark power to get to it.
