Kirby & The Amazing Mirror 100% Playthrough: Part 1 (A 4 for All Adventure through Mirror World!)
My third Kirby playlist starts with this. It's another big favorite of mine.
Part 1 covers the Prologue scene, the Intro level, the start of Rainbow Road, and some of Moonlight Mansion, ending with the Whispy Woods Expy: King Golem.
This is the first time I made a playlist for a non-linear platformer. For those who've played Metroid and the 5th Gen+ Castlevania games (Metroidvanias), you'll know what I'm talking about.
--------------
If you wait at the title screen, you can reach the Prologue scene. High above Dream Land is a parallel world called Mirror World. A dark force has taken over this world, and Meta Knight quickly hurries to find this threat and keep it from taking over Dream Land.
Kirby catches wind of this and rushes to the Mirror World himself to keep up with Meta Knight. But then, a darker version of Meta Knight appears, slices Kirby into 4 colored copies of himself, and then heads to the Mirror World, himself. While the 4 Kirbys, colored Pink, Yellow, Red, & Green, are initially shocked at what happened, a Warp Star quickly appears for them to ride on and chase the dark Meta Knight into the Mirror World.
When you actually start playing the game, this translates into the Intro Stage, itself.
After the intro stage, we are shown a cutscene in the Mirror World's hub room, where Meta Knight fights his clone, Dark Meta Knight. The real MK loses the duel and gets banished into the special mirror portal above them.
Dark MK then splits the mirror into eight shards, and scatters them all over the Mirror World. Kirby's mission is to reclaim these shards and enter the mirror they form to find the villain responsible for the Mirror World's peril.
After Dark MK leaves through a portal nearby, Shadow Kirby appears and follows him. SK will appear against the real Kirby multiple times throughout the game. You can kill and/or inhale him for an ability he may use on you, but he'll come back elsewhere.

For some reason, there's a minor emulation glitch that I can't get rid of. I noticed it just as I got and looked at MM's map. It's just a graphic/sprite glitch where the big-squared areas are somewhat duplicated to the left. It annoys me, but I'm gonna have to deal with it.
The 3 other Kirbys are AI-controlled, so they don't always do the brightest of things. Forgive them.
Last Thing: I'm sure this is the ONLY Kirby game in the history of the franchise not to have King Dedede show up in any way. Since the game takes place within the Mirror World, I'm guessing it shouldn't really concern DDD of whatever could happen to it, if he was even aware that it existed, at all.
3/20/16 UPDATE: Based on a special mode where you can play as Dedede in Kirby Triple Deluxe, it looks like he gets to have his revenge for not being included in this game, as the release of Triple Deluxe is also by the time of the 10th anniversary of Amazing Mirror!
