As soon as you defeat Zan Partizanne at the Divine Terminus, Hyness will interrupt his ritual to engage Kirby in combat directly. In the first half of the battle, he uses relatively simple magic, such as throwing shadowy orbs. The second half escalates things, as he summons the Three Mage Sisters to his side and uses them as his own Star Allies for a variety of attacks, including his own version of the Friend Circle, as a shield, and as direct weapons to cast magic in their respective elements.
