In honor of the new Shane Black 2016 film The Nice Guys, we decided to go back and review the spiritual prequel to that film.
I mean what else could you want. Iron Man and Batman finally teaming up in a neo noir comedy crime thriller.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a 2005 American neo-noir black comedy crime film written and directed by Shane Black, and starring Robert Downey, Jr., Val Kilmer, Michelle Monaghan and Corbin Bernsen. The script is partially based on the Brett Halliday novel Bodies Are Where You Find Them, and interprets the classic hardboiled literary genre in a tongue-in-cheek fashion.
Funny enough this film was also shown at Cannes like Clean, Shaven, but this one is at least still well known thanks to Black's career still growing.
