Klax - 1990 - Atari 2600 | Shortplay 4k CRT Simulation
Klax is a puzzle video game released in arcades in 1990 by Atari Games while Namco distributed the game in Japanese markets. It was designed by Dave Akers and Mark Stephen Pierce. The Atari 2600 version, released in mid 1990, and Fatal Run, are the final releases for the console which was discontinued in early 1992.
GAME RECORDING INFO:
The game was scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio. I also use a shader / filter that simulates a CRT Monitor (More like the way we remembered, than, the way it really was), and over it I created a 3D scenario to represent a 70's room, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
