Thunder Force IV, known in North America as Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar, is a shoot 'em up video game developed and published by Technosoft. The game was considered by journalists as one of the best shooters on the Genesis when it was launched. The game uses graphic techniques such as vertical and parallax scrolling.

GAME RECORDING INFO:

The game was scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio. I also use a shader / filter that simulates a CRT Monitor (More like the way we remembered, than, the way it really was), and over it i created a a 3d image of a Genesis / Mega Drive game room with a TV from the 90s, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
