13I had Klee in jail to make her sorry for what she had done, but she would never let go of the towel, and kokkoro, karyl, and Amber didn't want to let go of the towel either, so they held each other's hands when I tried to get anyone but Klee to do the job. I tugged on Amber's hand as hard as I could, knowing that there was a limit to how far their arms could stretch. But their arms stretched as far as they could. Even when I let go of Amber's arm and she was slammed against the wall, she did not let go of the hand holding the towel. I was moved by these girls' firm determination to want the towel no matter what happened.
