Graphic * (great)
A lot of improvement from the last title. Now more colorful and bright even for the stages like underwater and caves.
Gameplay * (good)
Still the beloved two characters on stage mechanic with unique advantage for each characters.
New added enemies, bosses, and stage mechanics.
Sidequest available with Bear's hut spread all over the world.
Bonus stages and DK Coins still exist; now with a guardian for the coins.
Mini games hut now available for doubling your silver coins and bananas.
Replayability * (high)
Unfortunately no new game plus, means no bonus for the next new game playthrough.
Biggest replay value lays on collecting all DK coins for opening a secret vehicle, all banana bird for secret ending, and all bonus coins for opening all secret stages on a lost world.
Story
Still just a guess work, no explanation of why we go to an area and knock down bosses there.
Sound * (great)
Personally I think its the best of the trilogy, because every stages has cheerful unannoying background music rather than just environmental surrounding sound effects.
Overall : With graphic that is colorful and easy on the eyes, game mechanics that still the same from the previous titles and also easy to learned. This is the best way to enter the franchise, since the difficulty is the lowest in the trilogy. Not trying it, your loss.
