Knockdown Revenge - Warframe 5SF Parody?
0Maybe this is better off standing on its own at this point, but the context is just weird enough to merit repeating. It was June 2013, I think? Warframe had just released Update 8.2, introducing the first hand-to-hand melee weapon, the Kogake. They held a video contest for the best Kogake Kills - 1st place winner gets 1000 Platinum, the usual. Normally I don't go for those kinds of contests, but in this case a weird idea kind of crystallized. I'd recently discovered 5-Second Films at that point, and I wanted to channel some creative energy based on that. So combine the Kogake Kills contest prompt and the 5sf "4 Years Awesome Luck" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4Nt5ptO6g4 - and you get this hot mess. I sure as heck didn't win, and I took the video off the channel soon after. But it's dumb and I still kinda like it, so here you go again.
Oh, and the winner of the contest was a tie between an actually cool use of Vauban's Bounce to midair-kick someone and a heavily edited Jackass take on a Volt Speed-ing and Bounce-ing really fast to ground-slam someone from an unreasonable distance away.
