Know When to Run

Okay, this isn't how I normally take on a wing of this type, but new players might. This is when to run, if not sooner.
The way to handle this type of wing, IF you're ship is equipped for it, is to see what the other threats are in the wing. Nail the two smaller wings, and then go after the larger ship. It can maneuver as well, and thus is less of a threat.
Power to engines to boost away when needed, so you can fix the shields, and then return is much better than hanging around to see if you will last.
The big money comes with a price. You need to learn how to earn it without losing everything.
