It's just an extra hit, but I guess everything counts. Doing B Hienshippukyaku instead of A Ko'ouken even when you get to the corner allows for higher juggling height in each rep since it's less frames overall, which allows to sneak the extra B Hienshippukyaku at the end before A Ryuuko Ranbu. This is also advised for the typical corner combo (string into A Koho xx B Hienshippukyaku, doing another B Hienshippukyaku instead of the A Ko'ouken after landing gives you more time to land A Ryuuko Ranbu).
