A side-scrolling platformer with janky combat mechanics. Ground combat is TERRIBLE and you should avoid being on the ground at all costs. You also get stunned for a couple of seconds if you ever get hit while grounded, which really sucks in a game with no invulnerability grace periods. Being airborne and attacking while in the air is the way to go. Enemies also do a LOT of damage and take many hits to kill even at the lowest difficulty. Fortunately, the game does seem to control well, so at least it has that going for it. You also get a super mode that you can trigger to float and slowly heal HP while it's active, so use it when health is low during boss fights. You can also get hit while activating super mode, so don't resort to it when your health is TOO low, as it only restores around 50 HP while it lasts.

100% is pretty straightforward, you just need to clear the game at each difficulty level (no, difficulty trophies don't stack as of this video) and beat either medium or hard difficulty in one sitting. It doesn't matter if you lose a life, just don't lose them all or quit in the middle of a playthrough to get 'Legendary Hero'.

There are upgrades you can purchase with souls from killing enemies, but many of them take so long to kill that I recommend going past most enemies and just killing the ones that are easy to dodge or give lots of souls. Plus, many of the upgrades are useless (like heavy attack, you NEVER want to use heavy attack) and I didn't even need most of them.

The upgrades I recommend getting are Health and Attack. Wing Power is debatable, it didn't seem to do anything from what I saw. Health is a top priority on Hard and Medium, although less so in Medium. I'd recommend just getting one Health upgrade on Medium, but get them all on Hard. Attack upgrade should be the next priority, and you should focus only on Attack for Easy.

Do I recommend this game? It's pretty bland and a bit janky, so only if you like games with a somewhat short 100%. This does give you both PS4/PS5 version so you can get 2 platinums if you buy it on there, although there's no autopop for PS5. If this ever got patched so that difficulty trophies stacked, this title would be a better recommend from me.
